What are the uses for the Transderm™?
The Transderm’s™ FDA Clearance states, “The Transderm™ Ionto Systems is a powered drug delivery system that is indicated for the local administration of ionic drug solutions into the body for medical purposes and can be used as an alternative to injections.”
We can use the Transderm™ to treat cellulite, unwanted fat, fine lines and wrinkles or excessive sweating. We have found that the Transderm™ is especially ideal for delivering mesotherapy drugs – without the needles!
What is mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a treatment that has been gaining popularity in the USA over the past decade – but it certainly is not new! Mesotherapy was pioneered by the French physician, Dr. Michel Pistor, over 50 years ago. Mesotherapy consists of injecting medications into the body. Originally, medical conditions such as osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia and chronic pain were treated. Over the years, mesotherapy evolved to include treatments for aesthetic purposes like cellulite, stretch marks, wrinkles, weight loss and acne.
The problems with mesotherapy:
Mesotherapy consists of injecting medications to change the body with many needles. A patient can have excellent results, but the process may not be worth it to many people. This procedure can be painful and result in bruising, swelling and even skin color changes.
The Transderm™ solution:
The Transderm™ delivers the same medications but does not use needles. The Transderm™ treatment uses low energy electrical pulses to deliver the medication.

This varies based on the area that is being treated. Most people see significant results between 1-6 treatments.
