Greg & Stacy Martin Scholarship
Grant Regional Health Center Foundation, through the Greg & Stacy Martin Scholarship, will award up to four $500.00 scholarships to successful applicants.
Eligibility to apply: Those eligible to apply are Grant Regional staff OR children of Grant Regional staff who are in good standing and have met employment requirements. They are beginning or continuing their enrollment in a fully accredited two- or four-year college between late May and Fall of 2023.
A selection committee will evaluate applicants for the four $500 scholarships based on their
- intent to continue or pursue a career in their chosen profession;
- commitment to their chosen field;
- academic achievement (grades and class standing);
Deadlines: Applications are due on or before April 1, 2023. Awards will be announced in May 2023 (can vary based on award ceremonies).
Upon award of scholarship:
The applicants selected to receive a scholarship will sign an agreement with GRHC Foundation outlining the conditions for release of funds. Payment will be made after the committee receives verification that the student has successfully completed one semester of the course/program. The recipient is responsible for obtaining this verification by providing their grades/transcript to the Foundation.
In the event a year with no awards occurs – the monies may be used as scholarships for staff members or will remain for future years and additional scholarships may be issued in subsequent years.
Please note, if you are not selected to receive a scholarship this year, you can still reapply in subsequent years as long as you’re attending college the following semester. If you have received this scholarship in the past, you are not eligible to apply again.
