American Diabetes Association Diabetes Alert Day® is on March 22, 2022. Observed annually on the fourth Tuesday in March, Diabetes Alert Day is a one-day “wake-up call” that focuses on the seriousness of diabetes and the importance of understanding your risk.

This year, Grant Regional Health Center will be offering FREE Blood Sugar/Glucose Screenings in Potosi, Lancaster, and Cassville. We encourage you to find out if you, or someone you love, is at risk for diabetes by taking the pre-screening test found at the link below.

Tracy Roesch, MS, RD, CDCES, CD, RCEP, the diabetes care and education specialist at Grant Regional Health Center, wants to help you develop a diabetes management plan that fits your lifestyle, beliefs and culture. She can help improve your self-care skills to eat healthier, be more active, monitor glucose readings, take medications, solve problems, cope with the emotional side of diabetes, and reduce the risk of other health problems.
