Welcoming Eli James, MD Family Practice
Grant Regional Health Center is proud to introduce Dr. Eli James and welcome him to our medical community. Dr. James specializes in primary care with a focus on acute care, chronic illness, nutrition, and men’s health and will begin seeing patients at our clinics in Lancaster and Cassville in early September.
Dr. James is a native of Mt. Horeb, WI, and a ten-year veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Dr. James studied as an undergrad at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He completed his residency nearby at Mercy Health in Janesville, WI. His military background instilled the important values of respect, compassion and dedication - qualities he demonstrates with the high level of care he provides each patient.
Dr. James is passionate about working with patients to develop long-term plans for wellness. “As a primary care physician, I believe in a balance of physical and mental health goals unique to each individual,” says James. “My emphasis is thus to partner with my patients to find their components of this balance; while educating, advising, and informing where I can.” After being raised in a small community, Dr. James looks forward to providing high quality care for residents in our small, tightknit community helping patients avoid traveling long distances to receive care. Dr. James enjoys spending time with his family, keeping active by running and kayaking as well as cooking and aviation.
Dr. James welcomes new patients. Appointments are available on Mondays, Tuesdays, or Thursdays in Lancaster and he will also see patients at Grant Regional Community Clinic’s Cassville location on Fridays.
