Each year, Grant Regional Health Center Auxiliary offers a special way to honor and remember loved ones through their annual Love Lights Program. The campaign is celebrated with a tree lighting ceremony that will be held this Saturday, December 5th at 4:30 p.m. in the Main Lobby of the hospital. All donors and their guests are invited to attend the very special lighting ceremony and remembrance ceremony.

"We recognize that the holidays can be a joyous time, but for those who have lost loved ones, it can also be a painful reminder of their loss," explains Gretta McKelvey, Love Lights co-chair. "It's comforting traditions like this that can help focus on wonderful memories, recapture a sense of joy and bring families together."

You can purchase several options for Love Lights on our website at in honor or in memory of a loved one and even a favorite pet. New this year - you'll receive a complimentary hand-crafted angel ornament with each Love Light purchase. (Ornaments will be available to pick up December 21-23). The public is invited to join us for this special holiday tradition this Saturday.

At the lighting ceremony, special music will be provided by the Lancaster High School Song Spinners. The names of those honored with a love light will be read during the meaningful ceremony and also listed in a booklet available at the event. Following the tree lighting ceremony, attendees are welcome to gather in the hospital's lobby for refreshments and good cheer. The Love Lights trees in the main lobby and outside on the west lawn will remain lit throughout the holiday season. All are welcome to attend. Grant Regional Health Center is always grateful for the generosity shown and appreciates these contributions.
