Biography

Welcome Dr. David Casillas Plazola| Bienvenido Dr. David Casillas

Dr. David Casillas was born in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. As a teenager, he moved to the central valley of California with his family where he completed his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. After undergrad, he sought out an adventure in the north to pursue his medical education at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He chose the Fox Valley for his residency training as he plans to practice full spectrum family medicine with obstetrics. David fell in love with Wisconsin for the genuine community and family friendly values and is looking forward to staying in Wisconsin. He is excited to practice full spectrum medicine while developing a relationship with his patients in our community.

Dr. Casillas shares that the thing he enjoys most in life is family time - including time spent with his fiancée and puppy, Dog Vader. Together they enjoy exploring state parks during the summer, chasing the fall colors during autumn and enjoying a puzzle during winter. Dr. Casillas also loves playing and watching soccer.

"My goal is to empower you with the medical advice, screenings, and resources to help you achieve your best health outcomes. I believe in taking the time with patients to explain their disease and the strategies we have to prevent complications and remain as healthy as possible."

"Mi meta es darte la información médica, los medicamentos y proveer los exámenes rutinarios necesarios para que seas lo más saludable posible. Creo firmemente que la mejor forma de ayudarte es explicarte cómo funciona tu cuerpo y tus enfermedades, así como explicar los pasos necesarios para mantenerte sano y evitar complicaciones."
