Biography
Dr. Eli James is a native of Mt. Horeb, WI, and a ten-year veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard. Dr. James studied as an undergrad at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and received his doctorate from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He completed his residency nearby at Mercy Health in Janesville, WI.
Dr. James is passionate about working with patients to develop long-term plans for wellness. “As a primary care physician, I believe in a balance of physical and mental health goals unique to each individual,” says James. “My emphasis is thus to partner with my patients to find their components of this balance; while educating, advising, and informing where I can.”
After being raised in a small community, Dr. James looks forward to providing high quality care for residents in our small, tightknit community without a long commute. On his own time, Dr. James enjoys spending time with his family, keeping active by running and kayaking as well as cooking and aviation.
