What made you choose a career in healthcare? I always tell how I enjoyed delivering lambs when we raised sheep in 4-H. My mom was a nurse and by the age of 13, I had decided I wanted to be a doctor because people could talk to me and animals could not. I wanted to deliver babies but still live in a small town. So I chose family practice.

Scope of practice, types of patients: I enjoy doing procedures but also lesion removals and suturing. It puts my sewing skills to work.

Practice Philosophy: Get the job done and do it right the first time. Take the time that each patient needs with each encounter.

"I work with a great group of people at Grant Regional. Without that team we couldn't provide the high quality of care that we provide in Lancaster." Dr. Huebschman is currently on the Board of Directors as medical staff representation for the hospital and also on Grant Regional's Foundation committee.
