The Ihm's Deliver a Gift at Grant Regional So Special; It Could Be Said It’s Heaven-sent

“It is so great to have a hospital close by to deliver our babies and receive care for our family. It saves travel time and headaches for sure! It’s also nice to have staff there who know me and my story and have been with me for past deliveries and can watch our family grow. We also really appreciate the set up and benefits of the renovated OB department.”

“We were doctoring with Dr. Huebschman and had a fantastic experience with her. However, due to her retirement, we had to switch providers half way through this pregnancy. She made the transition to Dr. Casillas very smooth and comfortable."

"Dr. Casillas has been wonderful to work with! His relaxed mannerisms and superb listening skills are something to take note of. He is willing to work with your wants and needs, yet offers his professional input. His nurse Cassie is also so enjoyable and genuinely takes you under her wing.”

“We had lost a baby girl, Angelica Faith, at 20 weeks gestation a little over a year ago so I was very anxious about giving birth to this baby. I was about a week overdue when Dr. Casillas left a message on my phone about going up to OB after my future appointment for routine care.

That’s when it occurred to me that it would be my first time there again since our daughter passed away. So I contacted the clinic to see if I could visit the OB department to process some emotions before I was in labor, and had to face the past all at the same time."

I heard back immediately with an open and positive response from Lisa at the clinic who connected me with OB. I set up an appointment with Nicole Bahl, who greeted us at the OB door and cried charitable tears with me. She walked us to the room where I delivered last time. Upon entering we saw a table with waters and straws, tissues, and chocolates. My husband Joe and I had the chance to talk, reflect, and pray for about 10-15 minutes. Much healing came in that time and I am so grateful for that opportunity."

"I ended up going into labor that night and, all praise and thanks be to God, had a safe and rather quick delivery of a baby girl, Nevaeh Anne. (Nevaeh is heaven spelled backwards) Some of the nurses who were involved in this delivery and care, Fallon and Jessica, were also present during our last experience. The attention and care they gave us and both our daughters, in both cases, was truly remarkable! It was a wonderful gift to be able to mourn and rejoice with them in our own little resurrection story.”

“It is neat to drive by the hospital with our family and hear the kids say “That’s where I was born!” What a gift to be able to have delivered all eight babies, seven here and one in Heaven, in the same facility so close to where we live.”
