New Sonosite Ultrasound for OB and Women's Health Services at Grant Regional Health Center
Lancaster, WI – Grant Regional Health Center (GRHC) has acquired a new Sonosite Ultrasound specifically used for Obstetric (OB) and women's health services. This system has been funded through generous donor support.
The Sonosite Ultrasound can make common diagnostic and intervention procedures more efficient and accurate. It tracks fetal developments with measurements and due date calculations in a 4-D visual. The Sonosite allows providers to have the ability to perform necessary tests quickly, with more accuracy, and to identify any possible concerns with mom or baby to allow for expedited follow-up.
Known for reliability and durability, the Sonosite increases diagnostic confidence for providers, improves efficiency and decreases complications.
“The Sonosite for OB has been acquired separately from our OB Campaign funds. Thanks to an anonymous grant of $35,000 and another $20,000 from funds raised through the Foundation including our recent annual appeal, we were able to purchase the new Sonosite. We are happy to provide our patients with the highest quality care through the use of the new system,” said Brandi Riechers, Foundation Director.
“We’re excited to have high-quality bedside ultrasound capabilities at Grant Regional Community Clinic and know that our patients will be the ultimate beneficiaries of the donation of this equipment,” Dr. Erin Huebschman added.
