Pediatric Therapy

Grant Regional Health Center's Rehab team treats patients of all ages, including Pediatrics. Pediatric Rehab patients can receive Occupational and Physical Therapy from our highly skilled and caring staff. Early intervention is key in addressing developmental concerns, and our team is here to work alongside you throughout your journey.

The goal of Pediatric PT is to utilize targeted and skilled interventions to:

  • encourage independent exploration of a child's environment
  • improve strength and endurance to be able to play with siblings and peers
  • learn how to move our bodies safely and appropriately
  • teach families how to maximize the benefits of PT at home

Common conditions: Cerebral Palsy, developmental delay, torticollis, spina bifida, weakness, specific genetic disorders, various orthopedic injuries, toe walking, and more

Some treatments may include: balance, working on meeting gross motor milestones (rolling, crawling, walking, hopping, running), coordination, ball skills, activity tolerance, range of motion/stretching, strengthening, parent/caregiver education, etc
